NetStar appointments

IP network and managed systems provider NetStar Group has made several key appointments to support the growth of its business in the Asia-Pacific region. Gareth Chang has been appointed group chairman, Chris Meager becomes chief executive of NetStar Australia and James Constable is the new professional services process manager, reporting to Meager.

Chang's previous roles include chairman and chief executive of Star TV, executive director of News Corporation, president of Hughes Electronics International, president of Direct TV International, and corporate vice-president of McDonnell Douglas.

He is a director of Baring Private Equity International, NetStar's majority shareholder, and a director of Palm Inc and a member of Nike's advisory council.
