| NetstarLogicalis says it has become the first Australian company to be certified to augment, resell and deliver Cisco’s, EMC’s and VMware’s Vblock infrastructure packages for setting up cloud computing environments. Vblock infrastructure packages are an element of the recently announced Virtual Computing Environment (VCE) coalition formed by Cisco, EMC and VMware. They consist of integrated, tested and validated data centre infrastructure offerings that combine virtualization software from VMware; networking, security and computing from Cisco; and storage, security and management technologies from EMC. They support a broad range of operating systems and applications and are designed to enable customers to rapidly migrate existing applications to a virtualized environment. NetstarLogicalis marketing director, Oliver Descoeudres, said: “This accreditation means we can work more closely with customers in helping them gain the best value from their private cloud environments. |
