NetStar brings VoIP to Melbourne

| IP network services specialist NetStar Australia has been awarded a contract to deploy and support a converged IP network across five City of Melbourne sites, including a new building in Swanston Street. The contract will involve the installation of more than 2000 converged network ports and some 1000 large-screen IP handsets at the four sites within the Melbourne CBD.
The system will be built on Cisco equipment.
