NetstarLogicalis strengthens Australian Data Centre practice with three new appointments

Sydney, AUSTRALIA – 27 April 2010 – NetstarLogicalis Australia today announced it has strengthened its data centre team with the appointment of three key senior positions. These include Stan Sotiropoulos to the role of Data Centre Practice Manager, Matthew Boettcher and Alberto Ramos to the positions of Data Centre Solution Architects.

Sotiropoulos has over 17 years experience in the information technology industry, specialising in practice management, strategic IT consulting, solution and product management. Sotiropoulos’ most recent appointment was with Thomas Duryea Consulting in the role of National Practice Manager of Data Centre Solutions. As NetstarLogicalis’ Data Centre Practice Manager, Sotiropoulos will primarily be responsible for driving the company’s data centre strategy including the development of their product portfolio and service offerings. He will also be managing NetstarLogicalis relationships including VMware and EMC.
Boettcher joins NetstarLogicalis with over ten years experience in public/private cloud computing and technical project management. Prior to joining NetStar, Boettcher held various positions at Microsoft including Infrastructure Architect and Technical Marketing Manager. In the new role, Boettcher is primarily responsible for driving NetstarLogicalis design and migration consulting business for private cloud infrastructures by leveraging virtualisation, enterprise storage and management solutions.
Ramos joins NetstarLogicalis with 11 years experience in highly technical roles, including 10 years at Dell as a technical consultant and systems engineer, specialising in Virtualisation and storage architecture solutions. As NetstarLogicalis’ Data Centre Solutions Architect, Ramos will provide architecture and consulting services for customers regarding Cisco, VMware and EMC data centre solutions.
